Melan Baktiar
Patent Engineer
Melan Baktiar joined the Hertin team in 2020 as a patent engineer. Through his patent activities at Hertin, Mr. Baktiar has also gained deeper knowledge in semiconductor technology, microsystems technology, metrology, technical optics and additive manufacturing.
At Hertin, in addition to his involvement in grant proceedings, Mr. Baktiar also assists in the evaluation of invention disclosures, enforcement of intellectual property rights, evaluation of searches, and opposition and appeal proceedings.
Biography
Melan Baktiar studied physics and mathematics at Leibniz Universität Hannover, specializing in areas of theoretical physics. In the context of his bachelor thesis, Mr. Baktiar dealt with topological aspects of magnetic monopoles.
In his master thesis he investigated knotted electromagnetic fields. Among other things, he derived connections for a special kind of mathematical construction for knotted fields for their energy and helicity calculation, for the waste behavior and conditions for null fields . In the course of his master's thesis in mathematics, he worked on quantum holonomy theory, which is considered a candidate for a theory of quantum gravity....
