Biography

During her diploma thesis in Molecular Biology at the Institute of Epigenetics at Saarland University, she investigated epigenetic changes in colorectal cancer using Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and bioinformatics.

As part of her PhD thesis at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC) Berlin, her research focused on the analysis of protein-protein interaction networks in blood cancers using LC mass spectrometry (LC-MS).

During her postdoctoral residency at the Children's Cancer Institute (CCI) / University of New South Wales (UNSW) Sydney, Australia, she used her expertise in NGS and LC-MS for biomarker identification and evaluation of novel therapies for pediatric leukemia.
